How to Set Up Your Inventory Catalogue & Warehouses using Kynection Inventory Module

How to set up the foundations of the Inventory module in the Kynection web portal. The video navigates the stock catalogue and its categories, handles non-stock items that you sell but do not count, reads the inventory dashboard and creates a warehouse. Warehouses come first, because stock cannot be located until there is somewhere to locate it.

In this part

  • The stock catalogue (0:00). Open the catalogue of stock items with their codes and categories, then browse the categories so items can be found without knowing the code.
  • Non-stock items (0:37). Catalogue non-stock items so they can be quoted and invoiced without being counted or located, and read the inventory dashboard for your top products and overall position.
  • Create a warehouse (0:53). Create and name a new warehouse, ready for stock to be assigned to it.

A well-categorised catalogue is what makes everything downstream findable. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
