How to count stock on the floor with the Kynection mobile app. The video creates a stocktake report and sets its rules, scans barcodes and QR codes with the phone camera to match items to their lines, and adds items by hand where a scan will not do. The outcome is a confirmed count that can be submitted.

In this part

• Open the stocktake reports (0:00). Reports group by status, and a new report takes the warehouse, the locations and categories to cover, the variance allowed, whether new stock can be added mid-count, and whether manual costing, descriptions and approval are allowed or required.
• Work the count (0:30). Open the report to see who raised it, its date and its items by product and floor, then use Scan For Stock to read barcodes and QR codes with the camera.
• Add and confirm items (0:50). Edit a line for its location, recorded count, unit cost and total cost, use Confirm and Scan Again to jump to the next item, and add and categorise items manually where a scan is not possible.
