The module overview for Inventory in the Kynection web portal, for stores and operations users. It covers the catalogue of stock and non-stock items, warehouses and stock levels, QR codes and stock detail, assigning stock to projects, jobs and people, transfers, stocktakes and packing slips. Stock items are counted and tracked by location; non-stock items are not.
In this part
- The catalogue (0:00). Open the catalogue of stock and non-stock items with their codes and categories, and read an item’s code, category, supplier and pricing.
- Warehouses and stock levels (0:53). The warehouse view charts availability by item with the all-stock breakdown alongside, so a shortfall is visible before someone goes looking for it.
- QR codes and stock detail (1:28). Generate and print QR codes for stock items, then read stock history and on-order quantities.
- Assign stock (2:13). Assign stock out to a project, a job or a person so consumption stays traceable.
- Transfers and stocktakes (2:43). Move quantities between warehouses so both locations stay accurate, and run a stocktake report to record the variance against the system figure.
- Packing slips (3:15). Packing slips record what has been picked and despatched against a customer and origin warehouse.
