Managing Your Maintenance Workflow with the Kynection Mobile App

The module overview for the Kynection mobile app: one pass through the maintenance workflow, from the job dashboard to closing out a repair. It shows how the pieces fit together; each chapter has its own feature guide in this knowledge base.

In this part

  • Navigate the job dashboard (0:00). Open View Jobs, find today’s job and select Start Job.
  • Manage scheduled and optional repairs (0:36). Read what is booked for today against other work on the same equipment.
  • Complete a fault repair (0:59). Start the repair or flag Waiting on Parts, add completion details, then sign and submit.
  • Perform equipment service workflows (1:19). Create the service form, pass each item, and use Fail to raise a fault to save or repair on the spot.
  • Record labour and parts expenses (2:20). Add labour records and parts used; everything lands under the equipment’s Expenses tab.
  • Raise new equipment faults manually (4:23). From the equipment record select Perform Maintenance, raise the fault and add its detail.
  • Allocate and start maintenance jobs (5:31). Deallocate to report without repairing, or allocate a repair back and start it.

Labour records must run in order with no gaps or overlaps, or the timesheet will not reconcile. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
