How to Manage Your Inventory From Your Phone using Kynection Mobile App

The module overview for Inventory on the Kynection mobile app, for anyone who holds or moves stock on the floor. It covers warehouses and stock levels, barcode-driven stocktakes counted where the stock sits, transfers between locations, and packing slips raised where the picking happens.

In this part

  • Warehouses and stock (0:00). Inventory sits alongside the sales functions on the mobile dashboard, and each warehouse in the list opens to the stock held in it.
  • Run a stocktake (0:38). Stock-take reports group by status, a report lists its items by product and floor, and location, barcode and lot or serial can each be scanned rather than typed.
  • Transfer stock (2:08). A new transfer opens as a draft, takes an origin and destination warehouse, and items are added from the catalogue or a category such as job products.
  • Packing slips (3:02). Slips group by their stage from draft through to shipped, and a slip takes its number, date, customer and price but cannot be confirmed until an origin warehouse is set.

A count in progress cannot be submitted until every open line is confirmed. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
