How to keep inventory honest in the Kynection web portal. The video assigns stock to jobs, projects and staff, transfers it between warehouses, runs a stocktake that records the variance against the system figure, and tracks packing slips. Stock issued to a job or a person is traceable; stock that simply leaves is not.

In this part

• Assign stock (0:00). Assign stock out to a job, a project or a staff member, then review the assigned stock view to see every item currently issued out and to whom.
• Transfer between warehouses (0:31). Run a transfer to move quantities between warehouses, adjusting the origin and destination together.
• Stocktakes and packing slips (0:44). Run a stocktake report to drive a physical count and record the variance, and track packing slips that record what has been picked and despatched, customised to your process.
