How to Set Up the Product Catalog & Custom Rate Cards with Kynection’s Sales Module

The pricing foundation everything else in Prosper draws on, set up on the web. You add catalogue items with labour as a sub-item, then build customer and supplier rate cards that override the standard price. An agreed client price then applies automatically on every quote and invoice.

In this part

  • Read the catalogue (0:00). Items sit across stock, non-stock, purchase order and package tabs, and a new item takes its name, code, sales and purchase account codes, category, subtype, type, manufacturer and owner.
  • Add labour and customer rates (0:50). Labour attaches beneath the product so a supply-and-install line prices as one item, and each customer can hold its own rate card.
  • Set rates and minimums (1:26). Each item on a card takes a unit price, sale unit and costing reference, a minimum invoice quantity stops short-billing, and supplier cards work the same way with purchase price, GST and total.

Customer rates can be bulk imported rather than typed one at a time. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
