Prosper Sales Module

Building a quote from the field in the Prosper mobile app. You read the quote statuses, enter the customer detail, then structure the quote into sections that each carry their own priced line items. A quote built on the phone goes through the same submission and approval as one built at a desk.

In this part

• Read the quote statuses (0:00). The quotes dashboard groups quotes as draft, waiting approval, approved, overdue, confirmed, back order, proforma, invoiced, rejected and templated, with the full list beneath.
• Create the quote (0:18). The header takes the quote number, date, valid-until, GST percentage and owner, with the customer, project and milestone set beneath and the description pulled from a template if you have one.
• Add sections and line items (0:39). Add a section with its name and description, then add line items into it with their unit cost, on-hand quantity and rate, covering labour, foreman time, penalty rates and overtime.

Sections come before lines, which is what keeps a large quote readable. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
