Breaking a project into milestones on the Kynection web portal, allocating budget against each, and reading the profit and loss charts that show where a job is making or losing money. It is for project managers and covers three stages in seven steps.

In this part

• Read the milestones (0:00). Milestones list with their dates, task completion and percentage complete, the budget breakdown chart sits beside the list, and the schedule view puts them on a calendar.
• Milestone detail and budget (0:20). Open a milestone to total budget, total cost, budget remaining and cost percentage alongside total value, invoiced amount and invoice remaining, then check its site on the map view.
• Profit and loss charts (0:35). The project record’s finance views chart the project by Milestones and by Subtypes with a breakdown table beneath, so a cost overrun shows against the category driving it.
