How to Manage Sites, Track Assets & Log Maintenance Using Kynection Project Management

The physical side of a project on the Kynection web portal: staff hours and jobs, then sites on the map, adding a site, and the assets on it with their inspections, defects and repair history. It is for project managers and covers three stages in nine steps.

In this part

  • Hours, jobs and photos (0:00). Staff hours show total hours and their value split by staff member and milestone, jobs list with their status including anything overdue, and photos attached to the project list against it.
  • Sites and the map (0:25). Read the sites list with address and company, add a site with its name, address, coordinates, state, client company, contact and project, then open a site to its assets, inspections and repairs.
  • Assets and maintenance (0:45). Assets list with code and description, the asset record shows its ID and barcode, and open defects are tracked separately so anything outstanding is visible without opening every record.

The No Geocode map filter finds sites without coordinates before they disappear from the map view. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
