Projects Module

Getting around the Projects module on the Kynection web portal: the projects list, the Gantt timeline, contract groups, and editing the commercial detail on a project record. It is for project managers and covers three stages in eight steps.

In this part

• Navigate the module (0:00). Open the projects list, switch to the Gantt chart, and read milestones as coloured bars across the months so overlap and slippage are obvious.
• Contract groups (0:20). Groups organise work by contract, with a new contract created from the same screen, and the contract list shows each one with its company, dates and value.
• Project info and forms (0:30). Open a project to its tabs, edit budget, percent complete, description, client companies, contacts and the retention percentage with its cap, then restrict project and asset forms to chosen groups.

Switching to the Gantt does not filter anything out; it puts the same work on a calendar. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
