Gear Asset Management Module

Finding an asset in the web portal, reading its record, editing its identification, maintenance and cost detail, and getting from the register to the drag-and-drop maintenance scheduler. Written for the web portal.

In this part

• Find the equipment (0:00). Open the equipment tab, then search, filter with the clipboard icon by project site, tag or region, sort by column, or browse by category.
• Quick links, projects and tags (0:46). The solid colour tabs raise work and the activity tabs show history; allocate the asset to a project or download its QR code.
• Edit the asset record (1:14). Use the pen icon for identification details, the Maintenance tab for service due date, warranty and hours, and the Cost tab for daily cost, cost per kilometre and purchase data.
• Jobs and the scheduler (2:08). Review ongoing and upcoming jobs, then drag jobs onto an internal mechanic or external supplier in day, week or month view.

Cost data feeds the asset profit and loss calculation, and scheduled jobs copy to the project scheduler so equipment is not double-booked. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
