Configuring Expenses and Revenue with Kynection Maintenance Module

Turning on revenue in the web portal so equipment profit and loss means something, then setting up a service with its intervals and warnings and attaching it to the categories that need it. These are admin-only tasks.

In this part

  • Enable revenue (0:00). Select Add Baseline Expense Categories and confirm; revenue then appears in the expense type combo box so it can be chosen as an expense category.
  • Create a service (0:29). From the options menu select Services, click the plus icon, enter the service name and click OK; the table is empty on a new setup because categories can have mixed servicing requirements.
  • Set intervals and attach to categories (1:00). Record kilometre, hour and date intervals with warnings and an expected duration, link a service form template if needed, then open Categories and add the service to the relevant category.

If no revenue amount is entered, the equipment P&L total shows the sum of all expenses, and Fixed Forecast calculates the next service from when the last was due rather than when it was completed. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
