How to Review Subcontractor Compliance and Project Access in Kynection

How to check what a subcontractor has lodged, from the web portal: the company record, the colour-coded insurance matrix, and the project view they get once they are approved. The matrix is the fastest check, since colour shows what is expiring, expired, unsubmitted or awaiting approval without opening a record.

In this part

  • Open the company record (0:00). The record shows contacts, forms, equipment and files against the company, and Insurance opens as a matrix across the policy types held.
  • Read the insurance status (0:14). The matrix flags no records, never expiring, not expired, expiring within 30 days, expired, not submitted and approval required across public liability, workers compensation and professional indemnity; reading down a column shows every company’s position on one policy type.
  • Check the project view (0:37). The assigned project shows its start and completion dates, a finance summary with revenue budget and total invoiced, project documents, and the admin forms and issues reachable from the same view.

Approval required is not the same as expired; a policy can be current but still waiting on someone at your end. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
