How to build the pay architecture in HR Settings on the web portal: enterprise agreement rates and award breaks, the shift structure of a working day, and the allowance categories that attach to them. Agreements are attached in role setup, so a person inherits their pay structure from the role they hold.

In this part

• Open EBA settings (0:00). HR Settings holds the HR configuration tiles; choose EBA Settings, where an existing agreement can be duplicated and edited rather than rebuilt.
• Define rates and award breaks (0:23). Normal time takes a rate name, multiplier and display order; overtime, double time, RDO accrual, day, night and public holiday rates each sit on their own row.
• Build shifts and map them to days (0:45). The four sections expand in place; Day Settings maps shifts to days of the week and Timesheet Examples shows how the configuration will read.
• Configure the allowances (1:06). Against an EBA group, tick the allowances that apply, such as dangerous goods, living away from home, meal, travel and work mobile, then review Allowances Categories.
