How to Log Time, Breaks & Allowances From Your Phone

How to log a shift from the phone so you are paid accurately. You select the project, confirm you are on site, add tasks and allowances, leave a note for your manager and submit the shift for approval. The project you check in against is what the hours are costed to, so it drives both your pay and the project’s reporting.

In this part

  • Open the timesheet (0:00). HR Home offers Timesheets and Leave Requests; open Timesheets to read the current period, with hours totalled and listed by day, then select the project to check in against.
  • Check in on site (0:23). Checking in outside the site’s radius warns that you are outside the check-in distance restriction and asks you to confirm; the shift then opens with its date and start time, showing Not Checked Out until you close it.
  • Tasks, notes and checkout (0:41). Add the tasks worked, any allowances, paid hours and break, dictate a note such as Late due to traffic rather than typing it, then complete and submit the shift to your manager.

Approved shifts flow from your manager into the timesheet. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
