Executing and Completing Repair Jobs with Kynection Maintenance Module

Working a repair job through to close-out in the web portal: the service form, faults raised from it, labour and parts, the waiting-on-parts pause, and the oversight screens that catch what slips. Labour, parts and waiting on parts are available at any stage of the service.

In this part

  • Work the service form (0:00). Select Create Service Form, tap Pass or Fail against each item, and record any fault with its sub fault, notes and photo, or select Action Now.
  • Sign off and record labour (0:42). Submit the fault, sign the service with your name and signature, then add a labour record with start and duration so timesheets update.
  • Parts, pauses and completion (1:31). Select the parts consumed from the drop-down, then Complete Repair and Mark Complete, changing the date to the actual service date.
  • Expenses, expiries and escalation (2:24). Check the Expenses tab, the expiry and upcoming services tables, and the escalation list of faults and repairs that have sat too long.

A fault must be submitted before the service can be completed, and the job is closed once approved. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
