Gear Asset Management Module

Parts used are recorded against the job on the Kynection mobile app, everything lands under the equipment’s expenses for cost oversight, and the job is closed with notes, a photo and a signature. This part also covers starting a fresh maintenance job from the equipment record.

In this part

• Add the parts used (0:00). Select Parts Used, tap the plus icon and choose the part from the drop-down list, then enter the quantity, unit of measure and completion date, adding further parts the same way.
• See the cost and close the job (0:20). All service expenses, labour included, sit under the equipment’s Expenses tab; select Complete Job, enter final notes, add a picture and signature, then select Done.
• Start a job from the equipment record (0:45). Go to the Equipment section, choose the asset, scroll down and select Perform Maintenance; Part 6 picks up from here.

Parts and labour must be added before you select Complete Job. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
