How to Record Labour and Managing Timesheet Data with the Kynection Mobile App

Labour recorded against a maintenance job on the Kynection mobile app also populates timesheet data, which is why accuracy here matters more than anywhere else in the workflow. This part covers submitting the completed service form, opening the Labour tab and entering a labour record with the times the timesheet needs.

In this part

  • Submit the service and open Labour (0:00). Once the form headers turn blue, add a signature and any comments and select Submit, then open the Labour tab before completing the job.
  • Add a labour record (0:32). Tap the plus icon to add a record against the logged-in staff member; one job can carry several records where work was split across the day.
  • Set the date, time and duration (0:52). Pick the date from the calendar, set the exact start time, select Duration, then tap Add Labour and return to the job screen.

Labour records must run in order with no gaps or overlaps, and the first record of the shift sets the shift start time for timesheets. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
