How to Set Up Geofencing & Monitor Live Fleet Status Using Kynection’s Aware (Trackview) Module

How to check the fleet hardware and set up geofencing in Kynection Aware (Trackview) from the web portal. The video reads live status to see what is connected and what has gone quiet, checks which unit is assigned to which vehicle, then draws a geosite polygon around a location and sets what it monitors. A unit that has stopped reporting looks the same on the map as a vehicle that has not moved, so check hardware before you chase a vehicle.

In this part

  • Live status and hardware (0:00). Read the live status chart of the fleet’s reporting state with the device list beneath, then check the hardware list of each unit with its identifier and the vehicle it is assigned to.
  • Create a geosite (0:11). Open the existing geosites, add a new one from the geosites menu, then draw the boundary on the map around the actual site, name it and save it.
  • Advanced options (0:31). Options covers locate settings, trips, events and notifications, alerts, speed alerts, activity reports, live status, geosites, equipment and user rights.

A geosite can monitor arrivals, departures or both. The PDF guide below has the screens for each step.
