We all love to make some noise every now and then… but excessive noise can irritate the neighbours and be rather harmful. So what can and can’t we do?
The new Environment Protection Act brings changes to the Noise Framework and clearer definitions of unreasonable and aggravated noise, ambient sound environments and more. For information about control of unreasonable and aggravated noise check part 7.6 of the act. The World Health Organisation found that noise is one of the most hazardous forms of pollution for both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. Let’s reduce noise as best as we can!
