We are a medium-sized company (55 staff) that specialises in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Electrical Installation services across the eastern seaboard of Australia. In order to scale our business and maintain our high levels of service, we spoke with Kynection about using their workforce management app to help us streamline business operations by going “paperless” with our operations.

After this was implemented in 2019, it opened up the opportunity to gain ISO certification (Quality, Safety, and Environment) which presented us with a number of new avenues to improve our business processes. This included standardising business operations, integrating operations with our accounting package, helping us retain existing contracts, and improving our chances when applying for tenders.
In order to help fund this project, Kynection introduced us to the Entrepreneurs Program, which is a Federal Government initiative that targets the following sectors; freight and logistics, infrastructure-related construction and services, information and communications technologies, digital technologies, and professional services. The other criteria that you need to have is to have been operating for 3+ years and be turning over between $1.5 million and $100 million, or $750,000+ if you’re located in remote Australia or northern Australia.

After showing the positive impact that implementing Kynection’s technology would have on our business, our application was successful and we received $20,000 which was put towards the setup cost. Throughout the process, the team at Kynection provided us with all the supporting materials and contacts at AI Group to make everything come together seamlessly.
